CSVNO – On the afternoon of September 12, the VRG Party Committee held a third quarter news conference with 492 delegates attending. The conference was held live at the Group’s Conference Hall and connected online to affiliated Party organizations.
The conference listened to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dung – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Academy of Politics Region II, Member of the Central Theoretical Council, presenting specific information on the topic of the world situation and the “Vietnamese Bamboo” school of foreign affairs and diplomacy. The topic is topical, urgent issues, clearly reflecting the complex context of the current international situation; approaching profound perspectives on the direction and foreign policy of the Party and State, especially the flexible and agile diplomatic thinking of Vietnam in the context of many fluctuations in the world.
The conference provided useful information, helping VRG cadres and party members access important information about the global political, economic and security situation. The foreign policy and diplomacy school “Vietnamese Bamboo” was analyzed and clarified. Bamboo – a symbol of flexibility, adaptability but still resilient, clearly demonstrates independent thinking, readiness to integrate and cooperate for the benefit of the nation and for peace and stability of the region as well as the world.
Currently, in the general context of unpredictable fluctuations as well as internal factors that cannot be overcome in the world and regional politics and economy, along with favorable factors and objective difficulties in the country, it has significantly affected the Group’s production and business activities. However, with a spirit of high concentration and determination from the beginning of 2024, the Party Committee of the Group has led and directed its subordinate Party Committees and member units to urgently carry out political tasks, direct the implementation of production and business plans closely following the actual situation, and firmly implement the Group’s sustainable development goals based on the foundation of 3 pillars: Economy – Social Responsibility – Environment; well implement the sustainable development program, associated with social and community responsibility; link economic development with the task of ensuring social security, political security and national defense…
Speaking at the end of the conference, Mr. Ha Van Khuong – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of VRG advised the Group’s cadres and party members to continue to study, improve their professional qualifications and political theory, actively compete in production and labor, strive to complete all assigned tasks, contribute to the completion of production and business tasks of the units and the Group; determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2020 – 2025.
