Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong holds the position of Secretary of VRG Youth Union

On April 23, 2025, the VRG Party Committee announced the decision of the Government Youth Union to appoint Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong – Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Chairman of the VRG Youth Union to hold the position of Secretary of the Group’s Youth Union.
Mr. Ha Van Khuong – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of VRG (right) and Mr. Huynh Kim Nhut – Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of VRG, Chairman of the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union presented the decision to Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong received the decision to hold the position of Secretary of the Group’s Youth Union.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Huynh Kim Nhut – Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of VRG, Chairman of the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union congratulated the new Secretary of the VRG Youth Union. At the same time, he asked Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong to promote his role as the head of the Youth Union, the VRG Youth Union and the next generation of the Group’s leaders.
Mr. Huynh Kim Nhut – Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of VRG, Chairman of Vietnam Rubber Trade Union gave a speech at the conference.
“The core task of the VRG Youth Union is to focus on implementing political and ideological education. Organizing peak activities and emulation movements, actively registering, undertaking and implementing youth projects and tasks to celebrate the country’s major holidays, welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party” – Mr. Huynh Kim Nhut advised.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ha Van Khuong – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of VRG said: “In the past time, the Party Committee of the Group has acknowledged and highly appreciated the activities of the Group’s Youth Union. Despite many difficulties, the Union has been proactive, voluntary, and creative in completing its tasks well.”
Mr. Ha Van Khuong – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of VRG gave a speech at the conference.
“In the coming time, I request the Executive Committee of the Group’s Youth Union to continue to concretize work plans and programs with specific and practical actions. Strengthen political and ideological education, foster revolutionary ideals, and enhance the political capacity of youth union members. Strongly promote the pioneering, proactive, and creative role of youth, especially in digital transformation, contributing to the excellent completion of assigned tasks. Continue to promote the role of youth as the right arm of the Party, proactively advise the Group’s leaders, and promote propaganda for Party congresses at all levels. The Group’s leaders always pay attention to and support the activities of the Group’s Youth Union…” – Mr. Ha Van Khuong advised.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong was honored and proud to be introduced by the Party Committee of the Group and trusted by the Youth Union Executive Committee of the Group and the Government Youth Union to the position of Secretary of the Youth Union of the Group for the 2022-2027 term.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong spoke at the conference.
“Also at this conference, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Group Youth Union and the current generation of Youth Union officials, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the former comrades of the Group Youth Union through the periods who have built and laid the foundation for the development of the Group Youth Union today. You have left us many spiritual values, good traditions and a united and strong Youth Union of the Industrial Group” – Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong, said.
“Under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the Board of Management of the Group, I promise to inherit the good traditions of previous generations of Youth Union cadres and continue to make efforts and dedication with the Group’s Youth Union Executive Committee, Youth Union cadres and youth union members to build the Youth Union movement activities to develop more and more, worthy of being a strong arm and a reliable reserve force of the Party organization” – Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong, said.
Continuing the achieved results, in 2025, with the theme “VRG Youth is proud and firmly believes in the Party”, along with specific targets, closely following the political tasks of the VRG Party Committee, the Group’s Youth Union will continue to improve the quality of the Union organization, promote creativity, pioneering, solidarity, and emulation in labor for the sustainable development of the Group.
