CSVN – Mr. Ho Xuan Truong – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, commented that in 2023, the world situation will continue to develop rapidly, complicatedly and unpredictably. Domestically, the economy is affected by many unfavorable external factors and internal limitations and shortcomings that have lasted for many years are more clearly exposed. However, with the strong and synchronous leadership and direction, the consensus and determination of the entire political system, our country’s socio-economic situation continues to recover, basically achieving the set general goals and many important results in many fields, continuing to be a bright spot of the global economy.
In that general context, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc (CBE) and Party committees at all levels have focused on leading and directing the strengthening and serious implementation of all aspects of Party building work; promoting the implementation of solutions to improve the efficiency of production and business activities, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development and ensuring national security and defense. The total revenue of corporations and general companies in the CBE is estimated at VND 2 million billion (exceeding the plan by 11.3%); pre-tax profit is estimated at VND 197.3 trillion (exceeding the plan by 11.3%); State budget contribution is estimated at VND 240.4 trillion (exceeding the plan by 28.2%).
VRG is considered a large-scale state-owned economic group in the agricultural sector, playing an important role in the country’s socio-economic development. As a Party Committee with a long tradition, despite many difficulties and challenges in 2023, under the leadership of the Party Committee of the Group, VRG has achieved positive results in production and business and achieved many important results in Party building as well as in performing political tasks. It can be affirmed that the VRG Party Committee has successfully carried out its political tasks in the context of facing many difficulties and challenges.
In 2023, the Party Committee of the Group has systematically and systematically implemented all aspects of Party building work, focused on leading and directing enterprises to make efforts, overcome difficulties, and determinedly implement and complete the Resolution on work tasks for 2023. In the context of many difficulties and challenges seriously affecting our country and enterprises in the Bloc, the Party Committee of the Group has led the implementation of political and business tasks well, continued to preserve and develop State capital, ensured jobs and income for more than 83,000 employees, contributing to the goal of modernizing agriculture and rural areas and the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country. Led and directed the implementation of security and defense work well, maintained security, politics, and social order and safety in the border areas where rubber units are located, contributing to building a traditional and close diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and the two friendly countries of Laos and Cambodia. Party member development work has received attention and in 2023, the target set by the Resolution was exceeded (reaching 102%). Inspection and supervision work has been directed by the Party Committee to be implemented comprehensively, regularly, with focus and key points.
To complete the tasks of 2024 in the context of many difficulties and challenges, the VRG Party Committee needs to continue to promote the achieved results as well as the comprehensive leadership role of the Party in the enterprise. The VRG Party Committee needs to focus on effectively implementing the Party building work and production and business activities of the entire Group, continuing to closely follow the policies and directions of the Government, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, and the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises. The Group’s Party Committee focuses on leading and directing all aspects of the Group’s activities and overcoming difficulties to complete assigned tasks, contributing to the development of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc and the cause of building, protecting and developing the country.
In particular, the Group’s Party Committee focuses on implementing well the planning, training and fostering of Party committee-level cadres for the 2025-2030 term and leaders and managers for the 2026-2031 period. Leaders of political and social organizations in the Group’s Party Committee promote their roles and responsibilities, actively participate in building strong enterprises, agencies and units. Innovate to improve management and operational capacity; improve the quality of human resources. Focus on implementing the Group’s Development Strategy for the period 2021 – 2030 and vision to 2045. With the efforts of the entire Party Committee, I believe that the Group’s Party Committee will unite, join hands, and overcome difficulties and challenges, optimize existing resources, promote the long tradition of the rubber industry, and best fulfill the goals and tasks set for 2024.
